Delivery Reports on iPhone!

To get message delivery reports on your iPhone follow these steps:
1. Download this file – iphonedeliver
2. SSH into your iPhone and copy the file to /tmp. [How?]
3. Run this command in terminal or putty
* dpkg -i /tmp/iphonedelivery.deb
4. Wait for your cellular network to refresh and you will start receiving reports.

OpenSSH, USB instead of WiFi

usb-ssh-iphoneNow you can SSH to your iPhone via USB cable instead of using WiFi connection. (Windows only)

Requirements

On the iPhone

  1. Connect your iPhone to the internet (EDGE/3G or WiFi)
  2. Open Cyida in iPhone.
  3. Go to Networking.
  4. Select OpenSSH and install it.
  5. Wait for Cydia to download the package and complete the installation.

On your PC

  1. Connect your iPhone to PC by USB cable
  2. Download iTunnel (Zip Format ~600KB)
  3. Once downloaded extract it somewhere
  4. Run “start_ssh_tunnel.cmd”
  5. Open WinSCP
  6. Set the parameters
    • Hostname: 127.0.0.1
    • Port Number: 22
    • User Name: root
    • Password: alpine
    • Protocol: SFTP
  7. Click on Login.
  8. Enjoy browsing iPhone file system!
How to Connect to iPhone using SSH

NOW YOU CAN SSH TO YOUR IPHONE WITH USB-CABLE

Applied to iPhone OS 2.0, 2.0.1, 2.0.2, 2.1,2.2

First thing you need is a Jailbroken iPhone in order to read/Write file system. next you must install OpenSSH from Cydia, for doing that follow the instructions below:

  1. Connect your iPhone to the internet (WiFi connection recommended).
  2. Open Cyida in iPhone.
  3. Go to Networking.
  4. Select OpenSSH and install it.
