Apple released their new tablet named iPad. As rumured it has a large (9.7 inch) multi touch screen, 1Ghz apple custom processor.
Actually there is nothing new because we see all these technologies in our iPhones. iPad has the same UI (as you see above) as iPhone. I think that apple made a big mistake by releasing iPad. They should work more on the UI, hardware, etc. There is no camera, no USB host, no more storage, … just 10 hours battery. Shame on you Steve!
Here you can find download link for iPod Touch OS 3.1.1
iPod Touch 1G – iPod1,1_3.1.1_7C145_Restore.ipsw iPod Touch 2G – iPod2,1_3.1.1_7C145_Restore.ipsw iPod Touch 3.1 – iPod3,1_3.1.1_7C145_Restore.ipsw
As you can see there is a new version of firmware for iPod Touch 3.1!!!
First, I’d like to let you know what the USBConfiguration.plist file included, in front of each I’m guessing what they could be.
New codes:
iPhone3,1 – 0×1294 (iPhone Nano)
iProd1,1 – 0×1295 (iTablet)
iPod2,2 – 0×1296 (iPod Touch 3rd Gen)
iFPGA – 0×1298 ( Apples long awaited gaming device like the PSP)
iPod3,1 – 0×1299″ (iPod Nano Touch or iPod Touch Nano)
Old codes:
iPhone First Gen – 0×1290
iPod touch 1G – 0×1291
iPhone 3G – 0×1292
iPod touch 2G – 0×1293.
I don’t know how I missed this but in the beta of 3.1, apart from the iProd, iPod3,1, iPod2,2 that has been found, there is also a rather strange thing, it is called iFPGA, here are some stuff about the iFPGA and iProd that I rounded up:

It’s been decided, September is a great month for us all, Apple will release the iPod Touch 3rd gen and the iPod Nano 5th gen along with the 3.1 iPhone software update, I also think this is the time Apple will release the iProd, also known as the iCrunch or iTablet, yes! Apple will release their tablet this September but something that made me really happy was iTunes 9 which will include something that I would really love, let me give you a demonstration, I love my apps and as an iPhone user, I’ve nearly five hundred of them and I don’t want them all on my iPhone but scrolling down through them and selecting those that I want and don’t want is very hard so I’ve always been hoping that Apple will enable us to drag & drop the apps from the Apps menu in iTunes and in iTunes 9 this is being allowed, finally.

A report from market research firm Piper Jaffray predicts the Apple Tablet will launch in early 2010 and provide an additional 1.2 billion in revenue. this tablet device will probably be priced around £500-£900, it’ll have a screen of probably 7 inches or so and will enable multi-tasking and will also support app store apps, it’ll be a double iPhone with double everything, from disk space to processing speed to screen size to GPS power, it’ll include everything the iPhone does and could in fact be something for you to sync your iPhone with too, a computer that is a larger version of the iPhone, a few years back, Palm launched something like this which would bring everything on your iPhone to a larger screen, so not only will it run as a bigger iPhone, it’ll also sync with your iPhone and will be a great device combined with iPhone.
A reference to an unknown iProd1,1 has been found in the latest beta of iPhone OS 3.1, according to ArsTechnica.
An updated USBConfiguration.plist in the most recent version of iPhone OS 3.1 beta offers compelling evidence that Apple has continued development on an unknown device, referred to as “iProd,” that was first discovered in March. A developer alerted us to the appearance of the new device description for iProd1,1 inside the configuration file. As most Apple devices are assigned the “1,1″ designation in the first revision, this leads us to believe that there is indeed an unknown product inside of Apple under active development running the iPhone OS.
When the reference was first discovered in March it was described as iProd0,1. It’s thought the change from 0,1 to 1,1 indicates that the device is no longer a prototype and may be getting closer to production.
The device has a new productID of 4762 (versus 4757 of iProd0,1) and its assigned ConfigurationDescriptor is “standardMuxPTPEthernet.”
I believe this’ll be the iPod Touch Nano with camera and mic, Apple had recently ordered large numbers of cameras from Omnivision, I predict that Apple will unveil 3 products in the September Let’s Rock event, A: the iPod Touch 3rd Gen B: the iPod Touch Nano or iPod Nano 5th Gen C: the iProd, I have no tip on what this could be but I like to think it is a Tablet.
