There is a new version of Installous 2.5. With installous you can easily search through hundreds of cracked AppStore apps then download and install them with a single click! This version of installous is work under OS 3.1.2 (3.x I think).

I can’t find any sufficient change in it’s interface but I think that this version is more stable than previous version.
In order to install it you have to add the following repository on your Cydia:
http://cydia.hackulos.us

Today I got this message while using IM+. I didn’t see any kind of limitation in IM+ after that message but I think jailbreakers have to find a way to resolve this issue. I think it’s time to update the cracking process, Installous, etc.

Appsync (installd) is now available for iPhone OS 3.1 (& iPod Touch).

Appsync is a mobileinstallation patch for OS 3.x. As one knows in order to install cracked iPA files via iTunes, we need to install appsync (3.x) or mobilesintallationpatch (2.x)

How to install Appsync for OS 3.1

1. Open Cyida
2. Add the hackulo.us repo (http://cydia.hackulo.us)
3. Search about Appsync in Cyida
4. Install “Appsync for OS 3.1″
5. Enjoy!

Users who wants to use Installous, Appsyne, Mobileinstallation patch on their iPhones should wait for the new releases of DevTeam products (Redsn0w, PwnageTool, …) in order to Jailbreak their iPhones.

This week Apple will be all over the news with their announcements at Wednesday’s “Let’s Rock” event. But with so many new owners of the iPhone 3GS, and with so many new owners of the iPhone 3G (perhaps sold to them by these new 3GS owners)…now is a good time to send out this general advisory.

If you update to Apple’s new software using the normal iTunes process, you will lose your ultrasn0w unlock. In fact you may lose it permanently, because for most people the baseband firmware cannot be reverted to a previous version (unlike the main application CPU firmware).

But don’t worry…our PwnageTool program lets you update your main firmware without touching your baseband firmware, so you can still have the best of both worlds. But you must be diligent about saying “no” to your iTunes request this week to update your firmware.

After releasing iPhone OS 3.0, Installous updated to ver 2.0.3. There are lots of users who can’t use Installous because of several error that may appears during installation of IPA files.

Troubleshooting (General)

1. Update on all Cydia packages. Do not skip updates.
2. Try Restarting device
3. Install an application from app store like “Google” before installing applications from Installous.
4. First select download, wait for it to finish (100% complete) then tap “Downloads” section and install. Double tapping on download may corrupt your downloaded file.
5. Make sure the file you are downloading works fine. -How To?-
6. Make sure the following packages exists in your Cydia, if not install them or re-install them to make sure everything is solid and packages are not corrupt. Installous is dependent on these sub package libraries.

yes, Appulo.us is back up again, it’s been up for quite a few hours but I thought I’d best post.

Today when i want to access to Appulo.us site, I found the following String instead of the original site!

[Update 5 feb 2010]*iPhone 3GS OS 3.1.3 is not supported, There is no jailbreaking solution for that!

Finally Hackulo.us release their new tool named “AppSync” that can patch the iDevices (iPodTouch, iPhone …) in order to install ipa files without paying apple!

What we need

• A jailbroken iPhone 2G or 3G (or iPod touch!) -How To-
• Cydia (Automatically installed in jailbreaking process)
• Internet connection (Faster is better!)
• A PC or MAC
• An iTunes Account -How To-
  
• Some ipa files (Can be downloaded from appulo.us)

The process

1. Open Cydia (DONT USE ICY)
2. Add this source: http://cydia.hackulo.us
3. install AppSync or installd
4. Restart iPhone
5. Connect iPhone to your PC/Mac by USB-Cable
6. Copy cracked ipa files into your iTunes Library (just drag and drop to the iTunes Window)
7. Tell iTunes to install applications that you want
8. Start Syncing iPhone!
9. enjoy it!
