Now you can SSH to your iPhone via USB cable instead of using WiFi connection. (Windows only)
Requirements
On the iPhone
- Connect your iPhone to the internet (EDGE/3G or WiFi)
- Open Cyida in iPhone.
- Go to Networking.
- Select OpenSSH and install it.
- Wait for Cydia to download the package and complete the installation.
On your PC
- Connect your iPhone to PC by USB cable
- Download iTunnel (Zip Format ~600KB)
- Once downloaded extract it somewhere
- Run “start_ssh_tunnel.cmd”
- Open WinSCP
- Set the parameters
- Hostname: 127.0.0.1
- Port Number: 22
- User Name: root
- Password: alpine
- Protocol: SFTP
- Click on Login.
- Enjoy browsing iPhone file system!
