Apple announced at WWDC first day the new and the the great iPhone OS 3.0 will be available to masses from June 17th, but have given access to developers today as reported earlier. Yes It’s not fair but think about developers needs to make their iPhone Apps compatible with this iPhone OS 3.0 before June 17th.
Apple named the seeded OS as iPhone OS 3.0 GM 7A341 where GM stands for Gold Master. Apple has also issued a warning as below
“By installing iPhone OS 3.0 GM Seed software on your Authorized Test Devices, these Devices are permanently “locked” into test mode and cannot be restored to an earlier release of iPhone OS. Bear this in mind before installing the software.”
