      Hi nak,
iPhone 2G by default did not support internet tethering, you should first jailbreak it, then install internet tethering via Cydia.
search google about internet tethering to get more on this

To connect your iPhone to the internet you must first realize how the wireless internet works. This is what I did to connect my iPhone to the Internet.

      Hi t-bird,
      Just follow these instructions :
      1. Go to "network connections"
      2. Set a new bridge between your internet connection & wireless network adapter
      3. Create a new wireless connection (ad-hoc)
      4. Connect your iPhone to this connection
** Note that you must have DHCP server available network

    Hi deegadee

    1. Open network and sharing,
    2. Click manage network connections,
    3. Right click on your Local area connection and click properties, continue,
    4. Select sharing tab and unchek the 'Allow other network users to connect……' press OK

Now try to build the bridging process.
    Should be fine.

  • mojtabacazi writes:
    January 29th, 20092:08 PMat

No need to bridge any more while using ICS

  • mojtabacazi writes:
